What is Loki's Path?
Loki is a trickster deity, now often considered a patron god of outcasts, misfits, LGBTQIA+ people, neurodivergent people, and revolutionaries. People from all manner of religious traditions (and lack thereof) have found a supportive protector in Loki.
Loki's Path is a community for people who work with Loki. We are dedicated to learning, supporting each other, embracing outcasts and misfits, honoring Loki, and actualizing Lokean values of comforting the disturbed and disturbing the comfortable.
Anyone who agrees to our community code of conduct is welcome to join us in our Discord server, and at our in-person events in Chicago, Illinois and Morgantown, West Virginia.
We see the role of Lokeans in the spiritual ecosystem as being a balancing force. Where most religious spaces focus on quiet discipline and are to some extent heteronormative, we provide a space to cultivate self-expression, spontaneity, sacred silliness, and the essential trickster duty of challenging dysfunctional, stagnant, and oppressive orders.
Staff
Catherine Carr is a Pagan Theologian with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, and the author of World Soul: Healing Ourselves and the Earth Through Pagan Theology and Breaking Your Bonds: Finding Freedom Through Adversity. She has spoken at the Parliament of World Religions, and served on the board of Loki's Wyrdlings for three years before co-founding Loki's Path. She hosts Zazen Meditations monthly in the Loki's Path Discord server.
Fox Laufeyarson is a hospital chaplain with a Master's of Divinity and a Master's of Fine Arts. They are a Pisces who encountered and fell in love with Loki in September 2025 and quickly began seeking like minds. They seek to create community to support agents of chaotic change to make life better for everyone. They host Art Club monthly in the Loki's Path Discord server, and are working on logistics to begin offering regular office hours for spiritual care.
DarkSun has a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She makes spiritual and devotional jewelry, and her written works have appeared in Loki's Torch. She hosts guided meditations and craft club in the Loki's Path DIscord server monthly.
Lathgertha is a Southern Hemisphere-based practitioner with five years' experience working with Loki and many more in spiritual circles. They started practicing magic in their early teens, and have been doing readings through patterns in nature for just as long. They work in a book shop, speak two languages, and are working on a third. These days, they consider themselves a Lokean Chaos Mage, which keeps life interesting, to say the least.
